Question: I'm a male, 49 years old, with a large resistant to weight loss abdomen. Can liposuction be combined with abdominoplasty during the surgery?
Answer: Liposuction can be combined with surgery, especially during a procedure called lipoabdominoplasty. In our practice, most of the time these are staged where significant liposuction is done first followed by an abdominoplasty.
