Question:
I'm having a cheek lift because the cheek and midface areas are my main concern. However I have very slight jowling. Will the cheek lift lift the jowls at all?
Answer:
A cheek lift or endoscopic mid-facelift will improve the position of the cheek and also it will improve the jowls as well. Sometimes the neck lift is a better procedure for this and oftentimes fat grafting alone will lift the cheeks and the jowls.

Question:
My cheeks droop a little bit. Pictures of me make me look older than I am. Is fat grafting involved in fixing a problem like mine or are non-surgical procedures used?
Answer:
For mild cheek droopiness, fat grafting or devices such as ulthera are used to lift the cheeks. Patients need to come for a consultation to really evaluate what the cause of the cheek droop is.

For a cheek lift, where are the incisions made?
Posted October 04, 2011 11:30 AM in Cheek Lift
Question:
For a cheek lift, where are the incisions made? I understand you’re doing work in the cheek areas and also temple area. Does this mean that incisions are made in both areas?
Answer:
For an endoscopic or mid facelift or cheek lift we put a small incision in hair line and in the mouth to lift the cheeks up, although much of this procedure has been replaced by fat grafting these days.
