Where would the scars be for a thigh lift?

Question:
After successfully losing 85 pounds, my body is in serious need of fixing. Most of my weight loss was from my thighs; at least that is what looks the worst. I would like a thigh lift to remove the skin. It seems that the skin sags most on the inside of my thighs. Where would the scars be for this kind of surgery?

Answer:
A thigh lift is done with different scars depending on the area to be treated and the amount of skin that is to be excised.  For a small amount of skin and especially upper skin looseness, the incision is made in the groin crease.  For patients with significant weight loss with significant leg laxity, the incision is going to be on the inside of the thigh.
