Distinguished Training

A testament to his knowledge and skillset, following Dr. Cook's General Surgery training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center–Pinnacle, he completed a three-year Plastic Surgery fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Florida. He then spent the following year at Sanctuary Plastic Surgery and became Board Certified in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery. Dr. Cook was then selected to a competitive fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the University of Miami, before returning to practice with Dr. Pozner. He has also presented on laser and technological advancements to his peers and colleagues at recent meetings of The Aesthetic Society.

Making the Time for Every Individual Patient

A key pillar of Dr. Cook’s surgical approach is first and foremost making time for his patients and putting their safety and comfort at the forefront. From in-depth education during patient consultations, to the meticulous, “no shortcut” approach he takes during his procedures, Dr. Cook believes his patients deserve the utmost attention to detail.

Dr. Cook strongly believes that successful patient outcomes begin with an understanding of what each procedure will entail, and having a clear comprehension of the recovery process. To Dr. Cook, a “job well done” is making a personal connection with his patients at every step of their surgical journey.
