Do I need to get a second neck lift as I age? Question:
I’m very interested in getting a necklift. I’m a 38-year-old female and the turkey gobbler seems to be very hereditary in my family regardless of weight. I’m not overweight, very lean actually, but my neck still has this full appearance. When I have this procedure done, will I have to have it again in later years?
This is cosmetic surgery; no one has to do anything. Recurrence of neck laxity depends on the quality of the skin of the patient and the age of the patient. So for a 38-year-old patient who is getting a neck lift, chances are that’s very early that they actually have this laxity. They will probably need some sort of recurrent procedure sometime during their lifetime.
