How are the incisions made for a traditional facelift? Do they start at the top of the ear and go around the face or do they go straight up from the top of the ear?
There are many types of incisions for a facelift, involving those which go up into the hair. In general in our practice we start by making an incision into the sideburns, and this way you do not really get changes to the sideburn position, and then inside the ear and then back into the hair. However, it depends on the individual patient.
