I am interested in having a midface lift. Can you explain how the skin is pulled back? Would it get rid of my sideburns so that my hair starts behind my ears?
A midface lift is a procedure that we perform in our operating room that involves a small incision inside the mouth and one in the hair in which the whole cheek is taken off the bone and lifted to a higher position. The skin is not pulled back but it is brought up in a vertical direction so this is a true vertical facelift with no visible scars. It does not change the hair position at all.
