The facelift, properly called rhytidectomy by medical professionals, is used to return the facial skin, muscle and underlying tissues to a more youthful contour for cosmetic reasons. A facelift will not stop the aging process but it will deter and offset some of its effects. It’s a wonderful way to offer patients a solution to the effects of heredity, sun exposure, environmental issues and a past history of smoking. A good facelift can take a decade off your face.

Embrace fills the treatment gap between non-surgical treatments and traditional plastic surgery, providing women and men with a beautiful, significant, and long-lasting solution to the effects of aging. This minimally invasive radio-frequency treatment helps to improve facial contours by firming the skin and slimming stubborn areas of fat with little to no downtime and permanent results.
Eyelid surgery, medically referred to as blepharoplasty, is designed to remove fat and/or excess skin from the eyelids. It can be performed on the upper or lower eyelids, or both. This procedure can help you look younger, more refreshed and more alert.
Fat grafting is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that harvests fat from one part of your body to be used as filler material in another part of the body. In the same way that dermal fillers (such as Juvederm) are used to plump lips, fill wrinkles, and plump facial cheeks, fat can be used instead and may be much longer lasting.
A forehead lift or “browlift” is a procedure that restores a more youthful, refreshed look to the area above the eyes. The procedure corrects drooping brows and improves the horizontal lines and furrows that can make a person appear angry, sad or tired.
After a certain point, visible signs of aging like deeper wrinkles, skin laxity and discoloration are impossible to treat with skincare. But surgical lifting procedures aren’t the answer either, since they only address excess skin and the underlying musculature. A wonderful complement to surgical lifts (or on its own), deep laser resurfacing addresses damage on the skin’s surface by removing the uppermost layers and allowing it be replaced with fresh, new, younger-looking skin.
A Lip Lift is performed to return the upper lip skin, muscle and underlying tissues to a more youthful contour for cosmetic reasons. As we age, our upper lip begins to droop – you may notice in older people that when they speak, you no longer see their top teeth but only the lower teeth. This is due to the drooping of the upper lip. The lift lip elevates the position of the upper lip to give a more youthful smile. The lips may also be augmented with dermal filler, collagen or fat during the procedure to result in a more aesthetically pleasing lip shape.
Ear pinning, called otoplasty, can be performed to address a variety of ear problems, such as reshaping the ears, reducing the size of the ears or bringing the ears closer to the head. Small ears, overly large ears, ears missing their natural folds or very long earlobes can also be addressed in an otoplasty procedure.
Rhinoplasty, or nose surgery, is used to either correct nose-related health problems such as a deviated septum or nasal fracture, or to reshape the nose for cosmetic reasons. It can correct birth defects or help to relieve some breathing problems. Rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of the nose, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the angle between your nose and your upper lip.
According to the most recent report by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the number one cosmetic procedure performed among teens is rhinoplasty, more commonly known as a “nose job,” making up 45% of all teen plastic surgery procedures. More than 35,000 American teens had a rhinoplasty in 2012.
Cheek implants are inserted to bring the cheek into better balance with other facial features. The implants themselves may be hard implantable material such as silicone or Medpore, or demineralized bone. Cheek implants may be inserted during other facial surgery such as rhinoplasty is done and/or during a facelift to correct sunken cheekbones.
The insertion of prejowl implants is a cosmetic procedure to correct the small “dent” that appears near the sides of the chin as a result of sagging jowls. Sagging jowls not only affect the jaw line but they create a bulge in the jaw line that looks like a small “dent” just between the jowl and the chin. Although a face lift can correct the sagging jowl to smooth out the jaw line, this can be much more effective if a prejowl implant is inserted underneath the tissues to simultaneously push out the hollow that was created by the sagging jowls.
